AKC SPO Trial March 10 & 11, 2012

We have been approved by the AKC to hold our SPO trial March 10 & 11.

This will be a UBGF observed trial (NO UBGF POINTS AWARDED), to see if we can join the UBGF all support would be greatly appreciate.

The host hotel is Paola Inn and Suites, we have a block of rooms reserved for the trial at a discounted rate. Please make reservations before Feb. 25, 2012. Mention the AKC trial for the reduced rate. Contact info on the right side of page.

Club Member passes

It is with sad heart that I post this.
Dick Hampton long time field trialer and one of our founding members passed away on Saturday Aug. 21, 2011. Dick was also on our Board of Directors, a Licence Judge in AKC and ARHA, Bench Judge in both, ARHA Gundog Kansas State Rep. and many other offices in many clubs over the years. Most of all he was a friend to all. He will be sorely missed!
Please keep Phyllis and the family in your prayers.

Rest In Peace Dick, thanks for everything.

Location of the Club

The Eastern Kansas Beagle Club is located about 45 minutes south of Kansas City just off US-169 hwy. Our clubhouse is in the basement of the Kansas Wildlife and Parks office, located at Hillsdale State Park (Signs will be posted for every trial). Our running grounds are the Hillsdale Wildlife conservation area surrounding Hillsdale Lake. We run all cast in the wild, on wild Eastern Cottontails.

Dick & Phyllis Hampton Award

On October 26, 2010 I had the honor to present long time Beaglers Dick & Phyllis Hampton with an award from the area Beaglers. We wanted to do it at our trial October 23, do to health reasons Dick and Phyllis could not make it. This award was for the many years of dedicated service and support of Beagle Field trialing. It was presented to them from all their friends in Beagling.

Thank you Dick and Phyllis for all you do, we wish you both a speedy recovery.
